Sundance-PENDING

Beagle lovers are going to head over heels for our little brown pup named Sundance. He was part of a litter of 5 who came to us along with their Beagle mix mom Daisy in early June at about 3 weeks of age. He was born in mid-May and is around 11-12 weeks old now. Daisy was living outdoors in a pen with her puppies when her owner asked the shelter for help with them. From there the little family made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in an indoor foster home while searching for permanent new homes. Daisy is a 25 pound Beagle mix (check out her profile and pics on our website) and we were told that the papa was a 35 pound brown Beagle mix. Sundance weighed about 5.7 pounds on July 1 and we expect he’ll be about 25-30 pounds once full-grown. Sundance is a typical playful, outgoing, boisterous puppy who will need a family who has lots of time to spend with him. He loves playing with toys and other dogs and is not intimidated by dogs much larger than he is. He is NOT housetrained so his family will need to be able to take him outside about every 2-3 hours during the day as he works on housetraining. Sundance has been working on crate-training for short periods of time and doing well with that. He can’t be left alone for long workdays. If you’ve got the time and energy to give a puppy the life that he needs, Sundance will reward you with years of companionship. His adoption fee is $350. He’s neutered, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Sundance. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
