Surrey-ADOPTED!

This cute and very charming pup is Surrey, a 4 month-old Terrier/Schnauzer mix female, who came to Canine Lifeline to find the perfect new home. She was found as a stray in a rural area and when no owner was found, she came to Canine Lifeline to start a new chapter of her life with a new family. If you’re looking for a Velcro pup, this is your girl. She’s a kind and gentle pup who gets along well with other dogs but seems to prefer human companionship to playing with other dogs. Surrey LOVES to cuddle and fancies herself as a lap dog so needs a person or family who has plenty of time to snuggle with her. She has done well in a crate in her foster home so should be able to master the house rules quickly in her new home. Surrey is learning to walk on a leash and is going to enjoy exploring her new neighborhood with her new family. She is a resourceful pup who can climb out of an exercise pen but only does that to be closer to her person. Surrey has long legs and a slim build. She weighs about 13 pounds currently and we expect she may be about 25-30 pounds once full-grown. Her adoption fee is $350. Surrey is spayed, on monthly heartworm preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Surrey. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children less than 7 years of age. At this time, we are only placing our dogs locally (within a 60 mile radius of Macedonia OH) and are not considering out of state applicants. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
