Thor-PENDING

Thor has got it all—great looks, smarts, and lots of talent! This Lab/Shepherd mix boy was turned into an overcrowded county dog shelter by his family who was moving and couldn’t take him along. They told the shelter he was 4 years-old but we find that hard to believe as Thor is as playful as a pup and has pretty white teeth. Thor has never met a stranger and makes fast friends wherever he goes. He gets along very well with other dogs too and might enjoy having a playful canine buddy in his new home. Thor knows a number of commands including sit, down, and shake hands (he’ll shake one paw and then the other!). He would love to learns lots more with his new family. Thor walks nicely on a leash for a big guy and would enjoy walks, hikes, and jogs with his new family. He’s a very affectionate dog who loves to shower his human friends with kisses. Think how wonderful it would be to wake up every morning to that big smile. Thor’s bright and cheerful attitude is sure to brighten even the darkest day. He has had excellent crate manners in his foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. We can’t wait to see Thor enjoying life in his very own home! Thor weighs about 55 pounds but is thin and needs to gain 5-10 pounds to be at his ideal weight. His adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Thor. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under the age of 7 years.
