Travis-ADOPTED!

Travis is a very handsome 1-2 year-old Beagle with beautiful markings and a great disposition. He and his traveling companion Tucker showed up at the 44 acre farm of a family who does kitty rescue. After hanging around for about 3 weeks, Travis and Tucker finally let their guard down and made friends with the farm family. No owners were located so it’s thought they were abandoned by hunters. They both left the nomadic life behind and made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for permanent indoor homes. Travis is a very friendly guy with people and loves jumping into someone’s lap within minutes of making their acquaintance. Snuggling with his humans is something he really loves to do. Travis walks very nicely on a leash without much pulling and seems very eager to please. He showed his serious side for the camera but this boy is sweet, silly, and almost always has a smile on his face—at least if there’s no camera in sight! He has done well with crate-training in his foster home so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in his new home with some consistent, positive direction on the part of his new family. Travis is very food-motivated and will sit nicely for a treat. Beagle lovers will not want to miss out on this great dog! Travis weighs about 22 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized.
