If you mixed a Border Collie with a Lab and shrunk him down to about 15 pounds, you’d have Trevor! This little 1 year-old guy is just too cute and is like having a big dog personality in a small dog body. We don’t know anything about Trevor’s history as he came to us from a rural county dog shelter but he definitely isn’t letting the fact that he has to start over with a new family get him down. Trevor loves to have fun and playing chase and wrestling with his fellow foster dogs in the snow is right up there among his favorite activities. Trevor has shown excellent crate manners in his foster home so may pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. He’s a very affectionate little guy but definitely needs lots of exercise and playtime before he’s ready to settle down for some snuggling on the couch. He’d make a great hiking buddy for someone who wants a smaller companion and may even enjoy trying agility or flyball once he’s mastered some basic obedience. His adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Trevor. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
