Trooper-ADOPTED!

This completely charming and oh so cute boy with the adorable underbite is Trooper, a 4 year-old Bulldog/Cattle Dog mix male with the most kind and gentle disposition. He might look a little serious in some of his photos but you truly won’t find a more easy-going, eager to please dog than Trooper. We were smitten with him from the moment he arrived at Canine Lifeline from an overcrowded county dog shelter. He had been surrendered there by his owner along with a Cattle Dog female because they could no longer care for them. His buddy went to another rescue so Trooper made the trip to us so that he could relax and take his time finding the perfect new home. Trooper has been friendly with all people that he’s met since coming to us and all dogs too. He is a friend to everyone! Trooper has excellent crate manners, is likely to be housetrained, and walks nicely on a leash as well. He will sit for a treat and takes them very gently. Trooper met the resident kitty at the vet clinic and completely ignored her—no interest whatsoever so might be fine living in a home with cats. We can’t wait to introduce Trooper to his new family. We’re sure there’s someone out there who appreciates his sweet smile, crooked teeth, and winning disposition as much as we do! Trooper weighs about 47 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Trooper. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
