Tucker is a very friendly 1 year-old Black Mouth Cur mix neutered male who loves having his picture taken. This sweet guy was found as a stray and when he wasn’t claimed at the overcrowded local shelter, made the trip to Canine Lifeline so he could take his time finding the perfect new home. Tucker has a great disposition and makes fast friends with new people. He hasn’t had a lot of training to date but is eager to learn and will work for treats. Tucker settles down nicely in his crate after some exercise or playtime. He will jump on people for attention but we have been working with him and he is beginning to understand that all good things come to dogs who keep all four paws on the ground. Tucker loves to go for a walk and after he gets over the initial excitement of being outdoors, he walks quite nicely. He gets along well with other dogs but may be a little energetic for older dogs. This boy has loads of potential and is going to make a great walking, jogging, or hiking buddy for an active person or family. Tucker weighs about 45 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Tucker. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
