This lovely boy is Ty, a charrning 2.5 year-old Brittany Spaniel/Viszla mix (or at least that’s our best guess!) neutered male with a great disposition. He was adopted from a shelter but found abandoned and was returned to the shelter through his microchip. This boy is so sweet that we can’t understand why someone would do that. Once back in the shelter, he made the trip to Canine Lifeline so that he could enjoy life in a foster home while searching for the perfect new home. Ty is both dog and people-friendly and has been very well-mannered in his foster home. He has excellent crate manners, walks nicely on a leash, and will sit for a treat. He loves playing with other dogs so would enjoy having a canine pal in his new home or regular trips to doggie daycare. Ty can’t wait to find the new person or family who appreciates just what a great dog he is and gives him a safe and happy life! Ty weighs about 40 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Ty. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
