Willow is a beautiful 2 year-old Collie mix female who was an owner surrender at an overcrowded county dog shelter along with her sister Blossom. We don’t know what caused these two to lose their home but they aren’t letting the fact that they must make a fresh start get them down. From the shelter, they both made the trip to Canine Lifeline so they would have more time to find perfect new homes. Willow is a very kind and gentle girl who loves to give her human friends lots of kisses. She gets along very well with other dogs but also loves being around people. She has been working on crate training in her foster home and doing well with that so should be able to pick up the house rules quickly in her adoptive home. She was unfamiliar with a leash when she came into the shelter but now understands what leash walking is all about and will only improve with daily walks with her new family. This lovely girl is going to make an outstanding pal for one very lucky person or family. She weighs about 49 pounds and her adoption fee is $250. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Willow. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
