Wilson is an adorable 7 month-old Shih Tzu/Beagle mix male with a bobtail who’s got plenty of personality and spunk to go with his good looks. This little guy was purchased from a pet store as a puppy but his owner rented and the landlord said the dog had to go so Wilson lost his home after about 5 months and was shelter bound. He’s not letting this turn of events get him down though as he’s now enjoying life in a foster home with Canine Lifeline while he searches for a permanent new home. Wilson loves to play with other dogs and toys of all kinds. He’s still a puppy so will need some obedience training and to work on his canine manners but he’s eager to please so should be a pleasure to train. Wilson does well in his crate so should pick up the housetraining rules quickly in his new home. He’s an active young dog who will need lots of playtime and exercise each day. He is most definitely NOT a couch potato! Wilson weighs about 22 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Wilson. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
