Winnie is a sweet and friendly 2 year-old Mountain Cur mix who is very eager to find a family to love. She came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter and, when she wasn’t claimed, made the trip to Canine Lifeline so she would have more time to find the perfect new home. Winnie is as kind and gentle as can be but hasn’t had much training yet so will need work on both housetraining and obedience. She loves her human friends, likes to give lots of hugs, and is very eager to please. Winnie gets along great with the other dogs in her foster home so would enjoy having a canine pal or two in her new home. She would also love to have a family who would be able to spend lots of time with her. Being left alone for long workdays wouldn’t make her happy. She’s going to make an outstanding companion for the person or family who has the time to devote to this sweet girl. Winnie weighs about 35 pounds and her adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email if you’re interested in Winnie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. All of our dogs come to us from county dog pounds so we have no history on them. We also have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
