Winnie

Husky lovers, meet Winnie! This gorgeous 2 year-old girl lost her home recently because her family with two young children no longer had time for her. Winnie lived with another dog and gets along very well with dogs. Since she’s been with us, she’s been a calm and gentle girl with excellent crate manners. She’s also likely to be housetrained but we can’t guarantee that she won’t have an accident or two as she gets used to her new environment. We were told that Winnie does not do well with an invisible fence and will run through it so does need a home with a tall privacy fence or she will need to be kept on a leash at all times. Winnie walks beautifully on a leash and will eagerly sit for a treat. She probably knows more commands that we have yet to discover. This charming and wonderful dog is going to make a fabulous companion for someone who knows, understands, and loves this breed. Winnie weighs about 42 pounds and her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Winnie. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
