Wizard is an adorable 4-5 year-old Jack Russell Terrier with just the right amount of energy. He’s super-cute with his little ears and bobtail but was very camera shy so it was difficult to get good pics of him. This little guy came into an overcrowded rural county dog shelter as a stray so we have no history on him. He came highly recommended from the shelter volunteers though who noted that Wizard’s signature move is to flop over for a belly rub within moments of meeting someone new. That’s exactly what he did when we met him. Wizard loves playing with other dogs but settles down nicely in his crate for a nap once playtime is over. He’s a charming little guy who’s going to make a great new best friend for one very lucky person or family. Wizard weighs about 15 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Wizard. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
