Yogi-ADOPTED!

If you’re looking for a small dog jam-packed with personality, that’s our Yogi, a Pug-a-weenie (Pug/Doxie mix, that is)! This adorable little guy came to us from a county dog shelter after he had been adopted for several months but then returned to the shelter because his elderly owner wasn’t able to properly care for him. Yogi is now about 6-7 months-old and still all puppy. He LOVES to play with toys, other dogs, and his human friends. Pick him up for a cuddle and you’ll be showered with kisses. Yogi has lots of kisses for his canine pals too. He makes friends with all dogs he meets and doesn’t seem at all intimidated by dogs much larger than he is. He’s looking for an active family who’ll be able to keep him busy with lots of exercise, playtime, and training. He would not enjoy being left alone for long workdays so is searching for a home where his family has plenty of time to spend with him. He walks very nicely on a leash and certainly has the stamina to hike for many miles with his new family. Yogi has done well in his crate in his foster home and should be able to master the house rules quickly in his new home. Small dog lovers are going to be crazy about this little guy! Yogi weighs about 10-11 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Yogi. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
