Zeke has it all—great looks and a fantastic disposition! This handsome 2 year-old Aussie/Cattledog mix male with the bobtail came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we have no history on him. The shelter told us that he was very frightened there but upon arrival with us, he immediately made himself at home. Zeke was a little intimidated at first by the other dogs in his foster home so it seemed as if his dog to dog contact had been limited in the past. He is getting more comfortable with other dogs each day and currently does especially well with female dogs, especially those on the calmer side. If there were a canine companion in his new home, a calm female would be the best match for him. Zeke has excellent crate manners and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. He does well meeting new people and generally remains calm and collected. In spite of his breed mix, Zeke is not a hyper dog and has a great energy about him. He walks quite well on a leash and is sure to enjoy lots of walks and hikes with his new family. Zeke was really focused on the camera during his photo session so may have a future as a dog model! All he needs is an agent and a supportive family!! Zeke weighs about 42 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Zeke. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
