Looking for a fun-loving little dog who definitely has the spunk to keep up with the big dogs but can settle down nicely too? That’s our Zelda, a 1 year-old Terrier/Beagle/Cattle Dog mix with long legs, pretty markings, and a very sweet disposition. She’s affectionate, sweet, and playful but not hyper so can go on long walks and hikes with her new family and be ready to chill afterwards. Zelda came to us from an overcrowded county dog shelter so we have no history on her pre-shelter life. She gets along well with other dogs and enjoys giving kisses to her human friends. Zelda has done well with crate-training in her foster home and may be housetrained too although we can’t guarantee it. She walks quite nicely on a leash for a young dog and will only improve with daily practice in her new home. This pretty girl is eager to start having lots of fun adventures in her new home. Zelda currently weighs about 23 pounds but is thin and working on gaining a few more to reach her ideal weight. Her adoption fee is $350. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Zelda. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. Please note that we don’t place our dogs in homes with children under 7 years of age. We correspond via email so please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
