Zeus-ADOPTED!

Meet Zeus, a 1 year-old Black Lab mix male with lots of energy and a sweet, friendly disposition. He was found by a good Samaritan in a rural area and when no owner was located was shelter bound when a rescuer asked us for help with him. Zeus made the trip to Canine Lifeline and is now looking for a great new home. Zeus is an active young dog who will need a home where he will get plenty of exercise and training. He does know the sit command and has excellent crate manners so should be pick up the housetraining routine quickly in his new home. He’s a quick learner and very food-motivated so working with him should be a rewarding experience. Zeus does like to take his humans for a walk so will need work on his leash manners. An EZ-Walk harness is recommended as he works on his leash skills. Zeus gets along well with other dogs so might enjoy having another canine pal in his new home. He weighs about 70 pounds and his adoption fee is $200. Zeus is neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Zeus. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 4-5 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
