Ziggy is cute 6 year-old Beagle/Doxie mix neutered male who was adopted from us in 2016 but recently returned as his family now has two children under the age of 2 and Ziggy is not happy about it. Ziggy loves adults and would likely be fine with older children. He seeks out attention from his human pals and enjoys lots of cuddling and snuggles. Ziggy does well with the other small dogs in his foster home but would likely be happiest if he receive all of the attention from his human friends. His previous family said that he was housetrained and he does well in a crate in his foster home. Ziggy walks well on a leash and is going to make an outstanding companion for the person or family who can give him the quiet home that he desires. Ziggy weighs about 17 pounds and his adoption fee is $250. He’s neutered, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations including bivalent canine influenza, wormed, on flea and tick preventative, and microchipped. Since coming back to us, Ziggy has had a dental cleaning and now flashes a pearly white smile. As part of the adoption process, all adopters must commit to a two-week adjustment period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email info@caninelifeline.org if you’re interested in Ziggy. An approved application is required before we schedule meets with any of our dogs. We have no foster homes with young children so aren’t comfortable placing any of them in a home with children less than 7 years of age. We try to respond to inquiries within 72 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
